Pear Cardamom Ginger Ale

The pear makes it soft and a little sweet, the cardamom adds a warm spice, and the ginger still bites the way it should. It tastes like fall in a glass.
Servings: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 can pears in syrup including the syrup
  • 1 cup real apple cider
  • 2 teaspoons cardamom
  • ½ cup Monin pear syrup
  • Ice
  • Ginger ale for topping

Method

  1. Add the entire can of pears, including the syrup, to a blender with the apple cider, cardamom, and pear syrup.
  2. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Strain the pear mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheese cloth to create a smooth spiced pear base. If you like it a little more pulpy leave it.
  4. Divide the spiced pear base among six ice-filled glasses.
  5. Top each glass with ginger ale and stir gently before serving.
