We’ve been on the move for as long as I can remember. From one place to another, from apartments to hotels to finally our own house, we’ve made the journey 16 times over. And if we count every twist and turn, it feels like a lifetime of wandering. Looking back, I realize this transient lifestyle traces back even further, to my days of moving yearly since I was 18, exploring different countries, cities, and dwellings. It’s been a whirlwind of change, but amidst it all, we’ve kept pushing forward, holding onto the hope of finding a place to call home.
"Home is the nicest word there is."
There’s a sense of relief in finally putting down roots, of becoming part of a community, of belonging somewhere. It's been a long journey, but every move has brought us closer to this moment.
Throughout this adventure, our children have been our greatest inspiration. Despite the challenges of the past four months, they've shown remarkable resilience. Sure, there may be stories to tell in therapy sessions down the road, but for now, they’re taking it all in their stride, teaching us the true meaning of strength.
It’s about the people we share it with, the memories we create, the love that fills the space. Whether we were squeezed into a hotel room or finally settling into our own house, it’s the presence of each other that makes it feel like home.

As we embark on this new chapter, I’m excited for what lies ahead. In the months to come, I’ll be sharing more about the process of making this house our home. From decorating to landscaping, each step will be a testament to our journey, a reflection of who we are and the life we’re building together.
So here’s to new beginnings, to resilience, and to the journey of finding home. Stay tuned for more updates as we turn this house into a haven, where roots will grow deep, and memories will flourish.
