Is anyone else feeling the whirlwind of fall?! As much as I love fall, a new form of overwhelm can take place. Life just seems to gear up and bounce around in all different directions.  There are seasons when our schedules become overwhelming due to work, family commitments, or personal goals. Self-care often takes a backseat during these busy times as we try to keep up with the hustle and bustle. Lately, I’ve been thinking about how it’s still crucial to remember that self-care is not a luxury; it's a necessity. If you’ve been feeling this way and want to work on prioritizing some self-care, here are some tips and ideas that might help you. 

Tips for self-care: 

Schedule It

Just as you schedule meetings and appointments, allocate specific time slots for self-care in your calendar. Treat these appointments with the same level of importance as any other commitment.

Keep It Simple

Self-care doesn't have to be elaborate or time-consuming. Even small acts of self-compassion, such as taking a few minutes to enjoy a cup of tea, can make a significant difference.

Set Boundaries

Learn to say "no" when necessary. Overcommitting yourself can lead to burnout, so it's important to set boundaries and prioritize your well-being.

Delegate Tasks

If possible, delegate tasks or seek help when you're feeling overwhelmed. Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Practice Mindfulness
